C, Linux & Git at Santee Cooper
Ported C code to Linux, deployed changes across eight servers with Git, and migrated more than 300 TB of historian data during an EMS replacement.
Embedded programming, software, and broader engineering coursework. For my main hardware work, explore PCB design or FPGA / RTL.

C firmware for button and timer interrupts, LED control, and PWM output. A separate lab configures an SPI master to transmit data in response to a button interrupt.
Six labs covering registers, addressing modes, control flow, and function calls. The later labs implement recursive Fibonacci and factorial routines alongside C driver programs.
A menu-driven program for arithmetic, statistics, and text exercises. Individual utilities are organized into implementation and header files, with input checks in the calculation and menu code.
Integrated an Arduino Mega, Simulink, and MATLAB image processing to detect game pieces and control servo and DC motors. The team’s gantry used 3D-printed components, SolidWorks design work, and PID-tuned DC motors for piece placement. I also worked on DFMEA risk analysis.
Coursework on transfer functions, impulse and step responses, Bode plots, Fourier transforms, convolution, and noisy signals.
Our team developed a rocket project intended to collect temperature, pressure, and humidity measurements at different altitudes. The recording below shows the team’s launch.
A concept study of transmission-network topology using PMU data, graph models, and discrete particle swarm optimization.
